Meet Mark

Mark Fisher began fishing on the regional tournament level over twenty years ago. He qualified for five championship events while at that level and consistently finished in the top 20% of the field during his eight years of competition. In 2010 Mark moved to “the next level” of competition and for the past several years has been fishing and learning as a co-angler on the FLW Tour. He took sixth place on Lake Eufaula in 2015 and cashed checks in 50% of the events he entered.

2017 was the first season that Mark Fisher competed on the FLW Tour as a sponsored professional. He finished 44th and 36th respectively in the final two events of the season cashing checks in the Mississippi River and the Potomac River events.

As the owner of two private schools for special education students, Mark Fisher has been a high school principal for twenty five years. He has a background in business, education and child development. This experience makes him a perfect spokesman for products and companies geared towards promoting fishing and outdoor activities to youth, their families and those that wish to appeal to the future of our outdoor heritage.

”I’ve been fortunate to have a job that I truly love and believe in. There is a saying, “ If you have a job you love you never have to work a day in your life.” I don’t know if I’d go so far as to say that I never worked a day in my life, but I always looked forward to going to work and making a difference in the lives of the kids we worked with. But I will also add, I have always dreamed of moving from that life to that of a professional fisherman. For years I’ve taught kids to dream big, set goals, do the prep work and go for their dreams; now I hope to live and strive to reach some of my long standing goals.”

We hope that you will visit this site throughout the year and follow Mark as he competes on the FLW Tour during his sophomore season as well as supporting his sponsors as they support him this coming year.
